Arthur Buchman is an American born psychologist, coach and leadership consultant living in Copenhagen since 1990. Arthur works in both English and Danish as well as online.
Educated with a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in Psychology, he has been in private practice since the early 1970s. Arthur has special competencies and decades of experience in helping people recover from and thrive after anxiety, depression, panic attacks, phobias, self-esteem issues, smoking, stress, trauma, cult involvement and relationship problems.
Arthur is an expert on cults/sects and is a member of the Advisory Board for the International Cultic Studies Association (ICSA). He is a regular presenter at ICSA conferences and was the Scandinavian correspondent for ICSA Today magazine.
Furthermore, Arthur Buchman is a psychologist with Falck Health Care, enabling individuals with a private policy as well as employees and their family members from many organizations and institutions in Denmark to receive therapy sessions covered fully by their insurance. He is part of the peer supervision team at Psykologcenter 1100 in Copenhagen.
As a coach and trainer, Arthur teaches leadership, team building, communication skills and optimism to leaders from all over the globe. Industries where he has consulted and/or taught include consulting, delivery, education, finance, foreign service, high technology, mental health, oil, pharmaceutical, retailing, religious and social services.
